This past summer Diane made Patrick and Sammy’s bathroom into an underwater paradise. While she was here over Christmas break, she took up the paintbrush once again, and designed a spectacular space theme for Patrick’s room. Patrick just loves it. Here’s what it looks like!
The Sun. The middle is painted with glow in the dark paint, so it becomes the moon at night
Neptune, Venus and Earth. All the stars are also painted with glow in the dark paint, so when the lights are out you almost feel like you’re in a field looking up at the stars on a clear night
Saturn, Mercury, Jupiter and little Pluto over the light switch (Pluto was still considered a planet when Patrick was born, so we feel we have a right to still call it a planet!!!!!)

Sammy says he can’t wait to have a new brother or sister, so he can be kicked out of the nursery and move in to Patrick’s really cool room.

We’ve been really busy the past few weeks, between having Andrew’s family for Christmas, and then having my sisters stay with us for a couple of weeks. The girls finally left for college this morning, and then Andrew left this afternoon for DC, leaving me to wonder where everyone has gone! I’ve spent the day doing a few of my favorite things: working on an enormous 2,000 piece puzzle, and taking pictures of my boys. Here are some cute shots that I got!
