This weekend was quite busy. Diane arrived home on Friday night, so we went over to my parents’ house for dinner. Diane’s flight was delayed, so we got to watch Miracle on 34th Street while Dad went to the airport. It was actually the first time I saw that movie, so that was really fun. On Saturday morning we went over to my parents’ house (again!) for waffles. We spent the whole morning hanging out over there, and in the early afternoon we came home so I could get a nap in while Rachel and Diane watched the boys. Later that evening, Jonny came over and we had game night. On Sunday, Ethan was baptized. The church was absolutely packed, and we later found out that Faith Pres had a record number of people show up for their 11 o’clock service yesterday… I think Mom said it was over 500 people. They had overflow seating in the narthex and even in the WIC room downstairs, which has a TV down there so you can view the service. So… Ethan had the most well attended baptism our church has ever seen! It was wonderful to see so many old friends there yesterday! After church, we had dinner at my parents’ house, and we hung out there until it was time for the Resurrection Pres. evening Bible study. We had a great talk about how we need to be bold and truthful when it comes to speaking the Gospel. After the Bible Study, we stayed around to talk for quite a while… much longer than we usually stay, but it was nice to not run out the door for once! Once we got home, I was feeding Ethan, and he gave me a wonderful Christmas present… he SMILED! The girls had told me that he had already smiled for them, and I was getting sad that I hadn’t seen it, so it was so special to see him smile (twice!). But, yeah, it was a busy weekend, and the next few days are probably going to be even busier. Today I need to try to get some chores done before we go over to my parents’ for Chalupa tonight. And tomorrow, we’re going over (yet again!!!) for a turkey dinner! It’s been really wonderful to have the girls home… our family feels complete again!
I’m glad Ethan likes his carseat, because he’s been spending a lot of time in it lately!
A smile from Ethan? It looks like it! (He’s laying on top of Sammy’s new Big Bear, and Big Bear is almost three times as big as him!!!)

Ethan and Kaiya in their Christmas outfits… this picture is extra special because I gave Kaiya her dress. Doesn’t she look like a little princess? Notice it almost looks like they’re trying to hold hands. Uh oh!
A month ago, Ethan was the sleepy one. This time, Kaiya wouldn’t open her eyes. One of these days they’re actually going to both be awake at the same time!
