One Month Old!
Baby Elizabeth is a month old today! I can’t believe how quickly the past 31 days has gone- seriously, it feels like we brought her home only last week! Here are a few pictures I took of her this morning 🙂

I am a day late in posting this, but Andrew and I celebrated eight years of marriage yesterday. It’s amazing how much has happened in the past 8 years, and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for us in the years to come!
I just thought I’d share some of the images from Elizabeth’s newborn photo shoot, which was done when she was just over a week old. Now that she’s just over 4 weeks old she’s grown and chunked up a bit, too, but I thought I’d post them anyways. I will try to post some more recent shots at some point! These photos were taken by Effie Kvale.
Here are the pictures I promised last week! As you can probably imagine, things have been pretty busy around here. Baby Elizabeth is doing really well, but she hasn’t been great about sleeping at night. I find myself getting only 3-5 hours of sleep every night, and it’s been taking it’s toll. I don’t function too well on little sleep!
Here are a few of her baptism pictures…
She wore a white Irish linen Christening gown that I purchased online straight from Ireland when I was pregnant with Patrick. All four of her brothers also wore the gown for their baptisms. She was baptized in our church, Resurrection Presbyterian, by our pastor, Reverend David Scott, who also baptized Ethan and Liam. Liam was also baptized in this same church building, while Ethan was baptized at Faith Presbyterian in Tacoma. Patrick was baptized in Virginia when we lived there, at the same church that my parents-in-law still attend, and Samuel was also baptized at Faith Presbyterian by Pastor Robert Rayburn, who was my pastor growing up.
We had Elizabeth baptized on Sammy’s birthday. It is also a special day because it’s also my sister’s birthday and the day in which my Grandma Megyesi died many years before. I guess it’s a bit of an important date in our family. After the baptism we had a birthday party for Samuel and Liam, who’s birthday was a couple days before. Sammy had specifically requested a Nemo birthday cake.
It definitely wasn’t a big party or anything- just the family, my parents, and my old friend from high school, Siera Havens. But I think the boys enjoyed it. Last year for their birthdays I was sick with strep, so this was a better birthday than that! It’s been a busy summer for everyone in our family!
