And I’m Behind…

November 12th, 2009

…again….

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to post, so I’ll give a quick run down.

1) Diane lives with us now. It is nice to have an extra set of hands

2) Patrick turned 5 and Ethan turned 2 years old

3) I’ve been really busy making embroidered Christmas gifts for everyone under the sun.

4) We got a dog. We named him officially John Chrysostom II and unofficially Jack 2.0.

5) Our puppy is very cute and amazingly also very mellow for a little puppy. The boys love him.

6) My parents will be home in 10 days and my sister will be getting married in 50 days. I’m getting excited about the first item and really nervous about the second. There is much to be done before January rolls around.

7) Liam is getting really fat. He will be 4 months old on the 22nd. I find myself feeling more attached to him than I was with the other boys at this age, which is kinda strange. He’s such a little sweetie and a total mommy’s boy

Here are a few pictures. Sorry I don’t have more, I don’t have a ton of time to upload them. For more pictures, visit Diane’s site. She’s been better about updating lately than I have!!! www.dianefeucht.com

Sneak Peek…

October 24th, 2009

The first time I ever saw Star Wars was at a youth group lock-in when I was a freshman in high school. Now, I have three boys that LOVE Star Wars. So, today we had a joint birthday party for Patrick and Ethan with a full blown Star Wars theme. I will post more pictures as I have time, but I thought I’d share a quick picture of Darth Vader and Yoda, both missing their masks, and their birthday cake.

We also had two R2D2’s, Leia, an ewok, and a couple storm troopers at the party. It was a lot of fun 🙂

The Last Three Weeks in Pictures!

Sorry about the picture dump, but I’m behind and I just wanted to get these out there for everyone to see 🙂

Creativity:

Attempting to dye with shaving cream (didn’t work out, the dye was too watery and I didn’t leave it on long enough. It would have looked cool if it had worked though!)

Sammy’s Hudson hat. Next projects: make one for each of the other boys!

Sweetest Smiles

October 14th, 2009

After almost 6 weeks, I finally got a picture of Liam smiling on camera yesterday. They’re not the best pictures because I was suppose to be heading out the door to pick up the boys from preschool when Liam started smiling in his carseat, but these are the best I have for now 🙂

Looking at my iphoto library, I realized I am behind on picture updates, so I’ll try to get some more up soon…

Kidney Stones

October 8th, 2009

This week has been rough. On Sunday Andrew rushed me to the hospital when the dull pain I had had since the night before had turned into sharp stabbing pain. After being seen by the doctor and having a CT scan, it was discovered that I had 2 small kidney stones, between 1-2 mm in diameter each. One was still in my left kidney and the other was it’s way to the bladder, thus causing the pain. I was sent home with vicodin and told to wait until they passed. Well, it’s Thursday and still no signs of the stones as far as I can tell. I had to stop taking the vicodin because every time I took it it would make me dizzy and then I’d throw up. So, now I’m just on ibuprofen, which is working for the most part. Hot showers and a heating pad have also helped with the pain. Thankfully the stones were small enough that I didn’t need surgery, and another thing to be thankful for was that despite being put on morphine in the hospital (which didn’t completely get rid of the pain for some reason), I have still be able to nurse Liam and I had enough saved up in the freezer that he didn’t need any formula during my several hour hospital stay. So, that’s what’s up. This has not been fun and I hope I can pass these stones quickly and with minimal pain!
